A beautiful vintage signet ring made of 14k yellow gold. This ring contains a green red jasper. This type of jasper is called heliotrope, which is derived from the Greek word "helios" meaning sun and "trepein" meaning turning. The basic color of these stones is green and there are usually red spots on them, because the red spots are distributed over the stone it can look like there are blood splashes on it, for this reason it has been given the nickname ''blood stone''.
