A monogram ring is actually almost the same as a signet ring, the only difference is that a signet ring traditionally contains a gemstone in which the family coat of arms is engraved. With a monogram ring it was originally customary to engrave the initials. Monogram rings are timeless and have been worn pretty much since we humans started making jewelry from precious metals such as gold and silver. You can't go wrong with a ring like this.
