We are increasingly receiving commissions to design unique jewelry. These can range from spectacular new designs to subtle adjustments to existing pieces. We can create both individual pieces and custom-design wedding ring sets, exactly to your specifications.

Using existing gold for a new piece of jewelry

Sometimes a new piece of jewelry is created using gold from an old piece. For example, a wedding ring incorporated into a new design.

However, the possibilities for remelting are very limited. This is because you only have the existing gold available, and no additional material can be added without it being visible in the final result. Furthermore, not all gold is equally suitable for reprocessing. Alternative options include:

• Reworking the jewelry, while retaining elements
• Supplement gold with new material, if technically possible
• Engraving or fusing a small part into a new design
