A beautiful large vintage pendant made of 18k gold with a cabochon cut amazonite in the shape of a drop. Amazonite gets its name from the Amazon River from which green stones used to be extracted, although it is suspected that the stones found here are not the same as amazonite. The dimensions of this stone are approximately 35 x 19.5 mm. The surrounding setting chosen for this pendant ensures that the gemstone is central and that the pendant can be worn on both sides.
