Unique custom project. .925 Sterling silver miniature 1911 handgun pendant with a total length of approximately 60mm. The gun consists of various parts that we designed ourselves based on a 1911 handgun. The project started with our own made 3d computer models and ended with many hours of assembling, handfitting, and finetuning in our workshop. Display box included.
Finish: Polished silver slide, barrel, hammer, (grip) safety, slide release, magazine and mag release. Matted silver grips, hand riveted to the oxidized (black) silver frame.
Operation: (The pendant does not really shoot of course.) The slide of the miniature can be pulled back and can spring forward. If the slide is completely pulled backwards, it will remain open, so that the top of the magazine (if in place) can be seen through the port. As soon as the slide is pushed slightly forward again, it will automatically spring forward and close.
The magazine retains due to tight fit when placed deep in the frame, so that it does not fall out by itself. The hammer is also movable.
