Beautiful and very special antique sewing scissors with silver handle. The scissors were made in the period 1859-1893, and it is of Dutch origin. The part that cuts (the scissors) is metal but the handles are silver. The silver is beautifully crafted and on both sides of the handles 2 engraved images (4 in total) can be found of bucket-wearing women. The length of the entire scissors is approx. 15 cm and the entire width (measured from the side of one handle to the other) is approx. 5 cm. The diameter of the eye of the scissors is approx. 2 cm. The weight is 44 grams.
