[sold] Beautiful and extremely rare antique gold medal made by famous Dutch sculptor and medalist J.C.Wienecke (1872-1954) with the back the text "ter herinnering aan de opening van het gebouw der Vereeniging voor den effectenhandel te Amsterdam 22 december 1913" (to commemorate the opening of the building of the Stock Exchange Association in Amsterdam December 22, 1913) and engraved on the rim with "J.C. Wienecke.-18."
On the front of the coin is an image of the god Hermes with below it the year"1913".
On the side engraved with "W.G.WENDELAAR, VOORZITTER" (PRESIDENT)
The medal is completely solid and with 156.1 grams very heavy. A very unique piece of (financial) history!
